Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 1.59% or 3.00 points to trade at 188.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 0.50% or 4.20 points to end at 842.80 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.17% or 0.20 points to 118.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which fell 6.80% or 1.38 points to trade at 18.92 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 5.41% or 2.20 points to end at 38.50 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was down 3.67% or 0.18 points to 4.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 269 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.80% or 1.38 to 18.92. Shares in NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) fell to 3-years lows; down 5.41% or 2.20 to 38.50.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.30% or 2.44 to $76.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.29% or 2.53 to hit $79.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.15% or 31.06 to trade at $2,721.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 11.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 109.50.
