Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.99% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 2.42% or 4.50 points to trade at 188.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.30% or 21.50 points to end at 1,675.50 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.12% or 1.11 points to 100.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 3.47% or 16.70 points to trade at 464.60 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.43% or 0.20 points to end at 5.60 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 3.32% or 39.40 points to 1,146.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 550 to 229 and 72 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.42% or 4.50 to 188.60.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $78.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $82.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 28.30 to trade at $2,346.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 11.27, while USD/SEK rose 0.66% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 105.21.
