Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.98% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.63% or 3.30 points to trade at 205.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 1.22% or 2.5 points to end at 208.0 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 0.99% or 10.0 points to 1020.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 2.76% or 5.6 points to trade at 197.0 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 2.31% or 3.74 points to end at 158.06 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 2.10% or 4.2 points to 195.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 352 to 232 and 69 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.76% or 5.6 to 197.0. Shares in Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.10% or 4.2 to 195.7.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.32% or 1.28 to $56.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.00% or 1.23 to hit $62.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.47 to trade at $1290.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.70% to 9.9556, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.4395.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.58.
