Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 0.86% or 2.0 points to trade at 235.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 0.34% or 1.5 points to end at 449.2 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 0.26% or 0.5 points to 173.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which fell 2.61% or 6.7 points to trade at 247.8 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 2.30% or 5.4 points to end at 229.1 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 2.20% or 5.80 points to 258.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 402 to 232 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.58% or 0.33 to $56.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $65.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1286.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.09% to 10.5145, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 9.3003.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.812.
