Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 0.25% or 0.24 points to trade at 95.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 0.25% or 0.20 points to end at 80.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 0.00% or 0.1 points to 168.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 3.44% or 3.5 points to trade at 98.9 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.53% or 19.8 points to end at 761.8 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was down 2.31% or 5.5 points to 234.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 446 to 177 and 63 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.25% or 0.20 to 80.50. Shares in Autoliv Inc. SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.53% or 19.8 to 761.8.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.09% or 1.60 to $74.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.43% or 1.23 to hit $85.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 10.4157, while USD/SEK fell 0.05% to 9.0507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 95.43.
