Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.90% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 0.63% or 1.50 points to trade at 240.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) added 0.17% or 0.18 points to end at 104.88 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 0.05% or 0.2 points to 438.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.65% or 5.0 points to trade at 182.0 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 2.09% or 2.0 points to end at 92.0 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.79% or 12.1 points to 665.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 320 to 319 and 55 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.65% or 5.0 to 182.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $70.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.74% or 0.59 to hit $79.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.10 to trade at $1223.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 10.3668, while USD/SEK fell 0.14% to 8.9644.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 94.89.
