Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.16% or 0.07 points to trade at 5.76 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 0.18% or 0.40 points to end at 226.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.14% or 0.50 points to 352.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 3.62% or 3.80 points to trade at 102.20 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 2.89% or 5.50 points to end at 183.30 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 2.09% or 4.60 points to 215.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 455 to 323 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.38% or 1.80 to $77.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.14% or 1.70 to hit $81.32 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.85 to trade at $2,325.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.66% to 11.28, while USD/SEK fell 0.43% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.79.
