Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 0.28% or 0.28 points to trade at 98.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 0.18% or 0.30 points to end at 162.70 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 0.05% or 0.1 points to 212.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 3.82% or 9.50 points to trade at 239.40 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.03% or 5.00 points to end at 160.05 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was down 2.47% or 4.5 points to 175.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 316 to 314 and 54 ended unchanged.
Shares in Boliden AB (ST:BOL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.82% or 9.50 to 239.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.33 to $69.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $77.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1206.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.22% to 10.6193, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 9.1566.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 95.09.
