Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 1.67% or 3.60 points to trade at 219.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.90% or 1.80 points to end at 200.70 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 0.73% or 0.75 points to 103.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 4.21% or 18.0 points to trade at 410.0 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.82% or 21.8 points to end at 751.4 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 2.26% or 1.9 points to 80.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 452 to 172 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.35% or 0.76 to $57.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.51% or 1.00 to hit $67.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.23% or 14.80 to trade at $1214.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 10.2523, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 9.0568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 96.97.
