Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 0.49% or 1.00 points to trade at 207.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 0.17% or 0.20 points to end at 118.40 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) was up 0.17% or 1.60 points to 965.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 6.38% or 14.50 points to trade at 212.00 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 3.13% or 2.50 points to end at 78.00 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was down 2.92% or 0.21 points to 7.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 533 to 226 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.98% or 2.18 to $75.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.02% or 2.31 to hit $78.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 15.55 to trade at $2,641.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 11.36, while USD/SEK rose 0.07% to 10.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 102.72.
