Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 4.51% or 4.65 points to trade at 107.75 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.66% or 11.5 points to end at 705.9 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.54% or 0.64 points to 42.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which fell 4.69% or 22.8 points to trade at 463.1 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 4.64% or 11.7 points to end at 240.6 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 3.73% or 3.2 points to 83.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 375 to 262 and 51 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.64% or 11.7 to 240.6.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.36% or 0.23 to $63.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.39 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1230.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.19% to 10.3382, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 9.0753.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.25.
