Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 1.67% or 4.1 points to trade at 250.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.25% or 8.8 points to end at 710.0 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.68% or 0.5 points to 79.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 4.33% or 17.6 points to trade at 389.1 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.61% or 6.2 points to end at 231.2 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 2.46% or 0.72 points to 28.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 365 to 258 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.81% or 1.03 to $55.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.25% or 0.80 to hit $63.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.85 to trade at $1422.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.53% to 10.5009, while USD/SEK fell 0.43% to 9.4268.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 97.417.
