Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 1.35% or 0.70 points to trade at 51.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.99% or 3.30 points to end at 335.30 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 0.50% or 0.14 points to 28.17 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.71% or 2.80 points to trade at 99.70 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 2.59% or 5.20 points to end at 194.00 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was down 2.11% or 0.13 points to 6.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 512 to 256 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.86% or 1.28 to $69.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.52% or 1.11 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.50 to trade at $2,735.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 11.43, while USD/SEK rose 0.46% to 10.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 103.75.
