Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 0.84% or 0.95 points to trade at 113.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.61% or 1.10 points to end at 173.40 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.20% or 0.06 points to 30.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 8.10% or 0.32 points to trade at 3.63 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 2.15% or 2.40 points to end at 106.90 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) was down 1.80% or 16.80 points to 916.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 455 to 280 and 96 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.80% or 16.80 to 916.80.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.60% or 1.12 to $71.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.29% or 0.95 to hit $74.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.09% or 29.44 to trade at $2,679.96 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 10.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.69.
