Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which rose 0.85% or 2.3 points to trade at 274.0 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 0.81% or 1.3 points to end at 162.0 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) was up 0.78% or 1.6 points to 205.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb), which fell 3.21% or 10.9 points to trade at 329.0 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 1.83% or 4.9 points to end at 263.4 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.54% or 8.5 points to 544.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 251 to 181 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.76% or 0.46 to $59.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.48% or 0.30 to hit $63.19 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1172.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 9.2315, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 8.2468.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.45.
