Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which rose 1.51% or 1.13 points to trade at 75.88 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.50% or 2.5 points to end at 168.1 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.96% or 1.00 points to 104.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 3.44% or 9.70 points to trade at 272.30 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.65% or 0.95 points to end at 34.88 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 2.31% or 17.8 points to 752.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 378 to 267 and 56 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.02% or 1.92 to $61.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.16% or 1.56 to hit $70.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.35 to trade at $1272.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 10.6990, while USD/SEK rose 0.31% to 9.5702.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 97.542.
