Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Goods and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.45% or 4.6 points to trade at 139.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 0.68% or 1.4 points to end at 199.1 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.10% or 0.10 points to 98.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 4.34% or 4.80 points to trade at 105.85 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 3.41% or 0.24 points to end at 6.71 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 3.11% or 41.0 points to 1279.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 373 to 222 and 57 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.95% or 0.69 to $73.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $77.35 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1251.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.63% to 10.4378, while USD/SEK rose 0.39% to 9.0137.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 94.91.
