Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.60% or 1.80 points to trade at 113.95 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 0.95% or 5.60 points to end at 597.60 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 0.94% or 0.07 points to 7.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 3.74% or 13.00 points to trade at 334.60 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.49% or 5.00 points to end at 196.00 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 2.16% or 3.80 points to 170.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 477 to 281 and 70 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.43% or 3.42 to $73.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.41% or 3.57 to hit $77.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 32.60 to trade at $2,633.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.36, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.30.
