Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 1.83% or 2.7 points to trade at 150.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 0.32% or 0.14 points to end at 43.52 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 0.30% or 0.50 points to 166.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 3.16% or 0.96 points to trade at 29.40 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 1.74% or 4.4 points to end at 249.1 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.61% or 12.5 points to 763.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 284 and 82 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.83% or 2.7 to 150.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.45% or 0.27 to $60.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.85% or 0.57 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.75 to trade at $1407.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 10.5683, while USD/SEK fell 0.32% to 9.3898.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.692.
