Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 1.01% or 4.7 points to trade at 471.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.85% or 2.15 points to end at 255.00 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 0.79% or 3.8 points to 486.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 3.72% or 27.2 points to trade at 704.2 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) declined 2.03% or 3.05 points to end at 147.50 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was down 1.88% or 4.8 points to 251.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 250 and 54 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.10% or 0.65 to $59.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.90% or 0.61 to hit $68.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.35 to trade at $1312.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.27% to 10.4176, while USD/SEK fell 0.80% to 9.1310.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 95.472.
