Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 1.69% or 3.6 points to trade at 217.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.25% or 0.8 points to end at 64.8 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 1.24% or 0.41 points to 33.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which fell 1.82% or 1.90 points to trade at 102.40 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.39% or 0.56 points to end at 39.61 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.35% or 1.6 points to 116.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 396 to 321 and 92 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.16 to $49.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $55.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1327.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.02% to 9.5195, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 7.9618.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 91.79.
