Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 2.38% or 1.20 points to trade at 50.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 0.19% or 2.00 points to end at 1,043.50 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 0.04% or 0.10 points to 264.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which fell 1.98% or 2.40 points to trade at 118.55 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 1.97% or 2.05 points to end at 102.20 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was down 1.83% or 2.85 points to 152.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 474 to 297 and 78 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.48% or 0.35 to $73.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.49% or 0.38 to hit $77.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.35 to trade at $2,543.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.48% to 11.36, while USD/SEK fell 0.83% to 10.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 101.38.
