Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.63% or 1.50 points to trade at 95.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 0.67% or 0.85 points to end at 127.80 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.67% or 0.66 points to 99.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 4.43% or 0.26 points to trade at 5.50 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 4.34% or 54.60 points to end at 1,202.60 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 4.19% or 4.30 points to 97.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 486 to 279 and 82 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.42% or 0.33 to $78.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.53% or 0.43 to hit $82.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.05 to trade at $2,329.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.28, while USD/SEK rose 0.25% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 104.95.
