Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 0.98% or 1.70 points to trade at 175.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.82% or 1.2 points to end at 147.7 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 0.18% or 0.3 points to 170.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 2.18% or 2.95 points to trade at 132.30 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) declined 1.84% or 7.7 points to end at 410.0 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 1.62% or 7.6 points to 462.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 324 to 304 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 4.20% or 2.43 to $60.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 4.16% or 2.67 to hit $66.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.16% or 16.25 to trade at $1416.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 10.5971, while USD/SEK fell 0.58% to 9.4163.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 96.713.
