Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 2.65% or 2.2 points to trade at 84.4 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.85% or 5.6 points to end at 663.0 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.82% or 0.82 points to 100.97 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 1.91% or 4.3 points to trade at 221.0 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 1.89% or 4.0 points to end at 207.4 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was down 1.67% or 3.5 points to 206.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 365 to 251 and 63 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.81% or 0.96 to $52.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.71% or 1.05 to hit $60.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1284.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.19% to 10.2686, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 9.0147.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 95.727.
