Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 2.88% or 11.4 points to trade at 407.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 1.17% or 2.6 points to end at 225.3 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 0.58% or 0.85 points to 146.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 3.25% or 1.10 points to trade at 32.71 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 1.71% or 3.6 points to end at 210.0 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was down 1.52% or 3.5 points to 226.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 409 to 214 and 57 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.81% or 1.52 to $52.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.85% or 1.79 to hit $60.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1282.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 10.2544, while USD/SEK rose 0.16% to 9.0263.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 95.963.
