Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.49% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 3.46% or 2.9 points to trade at 85.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) added 2.12% or 4.2 points to end at 200.3 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.41% or 0.57 points to 41.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 14.90% or 34.04 points to trade at 194.36 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.47% or 1.33 points to end at 36.98 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was down 3.11% or 4.40 points to 137.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 336 to 299 and 50 ended unchanged.
Shares in Boliden AB (ST:BOL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 14.90% or 34.04 to 194.36. Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.47% or 1.33 to 36.98. Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.11% or 4.40 to 137.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.40% or 0.93 to $67.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.76% or 0.58 to hit $77.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1231.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 10.3596, while USD/SEK rose 0.77% to 9.0945.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 96.14.
