Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which rose 4.97% or 22.3 points to trade at 470.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 2.75% or 5.75 points to end at 214.90 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.39% or 1.45 points to 105.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 7.68% or 6.9 points to trade at 83.0 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 2.55% or 18.1 points to end at 692.8 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was down 2.48% or 5.8 points to 227.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 331 to 283 and 63 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.79% or 1.82 to $63.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.23% or 2.44 to hit $73.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.73% or 21.00 to trade at $1233.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.35% to 10.3326, while USD/SEK fell 1.14% to 9.0651.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 96.20.
