Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 3.40% or 0.72 points to trade at 21.91 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 0.67% or 1.60 points to end at 233.30 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.44% or 1.30 points to 299.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 2.15% or 0.08 points to trade at 3.55 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 1.96% or 5.50 points to end at 274.90 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 1.73% or 3.60 points to 204.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 503 to 267 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.63% or 1.16 to $70.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.02% or 0.76 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 5.66 to trade at $2,670.14 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.57% to 11.45, while USD/SEK fell 0.66% to 10.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 106.53.
