Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKI), which rose 0.69% or 0.40 points to trade at 58.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) added 0.66% or 1.6 points to end at 244.1 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) was up 0.29% or 0.15 points to 52.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 4.08% or 5.30 points to trade at 124.50 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.17% or 3.60 points to end at 162.00 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 2.12% or 3.8 points to 175.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 272 to 163 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.66% or 1.6 to 244.1.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.54% or 0.26 to $48.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.31% or 0.72 to hit $54.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.82% or 9.00 to trade at $1085.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.19% to 9.4275, while USD/SEK rose 0.27% to 8.5878.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 97.36.
