Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.41% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.07% or 0.48 points to trade at 45.21 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.90% or 5.0 points to end at 561.5 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.68% or 1.90 points to 282.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 1.44% or 1.50 points to trade at 102.50 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.44% or 0.23 points to end at 15.71 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.19% or 0.65 points to 54.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 310 to 293 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.07% or 0.48 to 45.21. Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.44% or 0.23 to 15.71.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.13% or 0.08 to $59.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.24% or 0.16 to hit $65.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1296.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 9.8570, while USD/SEK fell 0.34% to 8.2460.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 92.31.
