Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.36% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 0.77% or 1.15 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.75% or 10.50 points to end at 1,409.00 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 0.69% or 4.20 points to 611.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 4.02% or 1.90 points to trade at 45.60 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.70% or 3.10 points to end at 81.30 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was down 3.31% or 0.14 points to 4.03.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 291 and 77 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.70% or 3.10 to 81.30.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.06% or 0.04 to $69.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $73.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 26.70 to trade at $2,657.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.46% to 11.61, while USD/SEK rose 1.14% to 11.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 106.75.
