Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 2.83% or 10.7 points to trade at 388.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.45% or 2.20 points to end at 153.95 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 1.35% or 5.6 points to 420.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 2.50% or 1.96 points to trade at 76.34 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.16% or 14.8 points to end at 669.2 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.95% or 3.5 points to 173.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 330 to 293 and 62 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.56% or 0.82 to $51.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.52% or 0.94 to hit $60.74 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1289.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 10.2425, while USD/SEK rose 0.21% to 8.9222.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.167.
