Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.54% or 34.0 points to trade at 1370.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.51% or 6.3 points to end at 424.6 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.84% or 2.65 points to 317.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.75% or 0.84 points to trade at 47.06 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.72% or 3.80 points to end at 217.30 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.33% or 1.14 points to 84.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 315 to 310 and 50 ended unchanged.
Shares in Autoliv Inc. SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) rose to all time highs; rising 2.54% or 34.0 to 1370.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.17% or 0.11 to $64.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.16% or 0.87 to hit $74.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.50 to trade at $1300.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.01% to 10.2463, while USD/SEK rose 0.06% to 8.7635.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 94.01.
