Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.55% or 0.85 points to trade at 34.19 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 1.80% or 2.30 points to end at 130.20 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 1.40% or 2.0 points to 144.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which fell 4.27% or 9.6 points to trade at 215.2 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) declined 3.04% or 7.8 points to end at 249.0 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was down 2.48% or 3.8 points to 149.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 225 to 218 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.47% or 0.23 to $48.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.18% or 0.10 to hit $51.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1146.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.2723, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 8.2425.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 95.58.
