Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.35% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.22% or 0.15 points to trade at 7.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 1.26% or 1.80 points to end at 144.75 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.64% or 0.27 points to 42.53 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb), which fell 2.98% or 7.0 points to trade at 226.5 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 1.73% or 4.5 points to end at 253.1 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 0.95% or 1.9 points to 198.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 241 and 50 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.98% or 7.0 to 226.5. Shares in Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.73% or 4.5 to 253.1. Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.95% or 1.9 to 198.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.03% or 2.06 to $70.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.90% or 1.42 to hit $75.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 6.10 to trade at $1262.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.11% to 10.3412, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.8589.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 94.17.
