Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 2.57% or 0.80 points to trade at 31.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.80% or 3.70 points to end at 209.20 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 1.79% or 0.11 points to 6.47 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 5.42% or 13.60 points to trade at 237.60 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 2.42% or 2.80 points to end at 110.90 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.80% or 30.50 points to 1,667.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 447 to 308 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.57% or 0.80 to 31.96.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.75% or 0.58 to $78.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.34% or 0.28 to hit $81.99 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.39% or 57.70 to trade at $2,358.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.53% to 11.73, while USD/SEK rose 0.23% to 10.80.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.04.
