Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.68% or 3.00 points to trade at 181.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 0.70% or 1.3 points to end at 188.2 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 0.60% or 0.80 points to 134.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 1.97% or 5.7 points to trade at 283.3 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.22% or 0.8 points to end at 64.7 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.19% or 1.4 points to 115.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 390 to 322 and 88 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.28% or 1.55 to $48.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.31% or 1.21 to hit $53.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 11.14 to trade at $1341.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 9.4889, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.00% to 7.9646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.29.
