Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.31% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 14.29% or 2.42 points to trade at 19.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.34% or 1.1 points to end at 79.7 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.02% or 2.50 points to 248.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 2.15% or 4.5 points to trade at 204.6 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.41% or 2.7 points to end at 188.9 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 0.96% or 10.0 points to 1027.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 365 to 224 and 72 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.41% or 2.7 to 188.9.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.25 to $58.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.79 to trade at $1291.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 9.8280, while USD/SEK fell 0.56% to 8.2929.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.05.
