Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.46% or 0.15 points to trade at 10.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 0.53% or 1.20 points to end at 228.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.44% or 0.5 points to 114.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.68% or 0.95 points to trade at 55.73 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.27% or 3.80 points to end at 294.90 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 1.15% or 1.6 points to 137.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 368 to 234 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.98% or 0.62 to $62.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.29% or 0.86 to hit $65.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1321.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 10.0953, while USD/SEK rose 0.46% to 8.2626.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 90.44.
