Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 1.20% or 1.6 points to trade at 134.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 1.19% or 2.3 points to end at 195.9 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.00% or 2.1 points to 211.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 2.91% or 4.2 points to trade at 138.6 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 1.33% or 5.5 points to end at 408.2 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was down 1.08% or 1.55 points to 141.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 419 to 223 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.33% or 5.5 to 408.2.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 5.36% or 2.69 to $47.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 4.11% or 2.45 to hit $57.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1252.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 10.3058, while USD/SEK rose 0.12% to 9.0695.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 96.507.
