Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 0.83% or 1.4 points to trade at 177.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) added 0.58% or 2.7 points to end at 465.8 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was up 0.56% or 0.45 points to 80.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 3.25% or 3.50 points to trade at 104.25 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 2.56% or 4.1 points to end at 156.0 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 1.91% or 13.5 points to 692.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 315 to 297 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.46% or 1.55 to $61.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.24% or 1.64 to hit $71.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1227.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.20% to 10.3520, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 9.0648.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.09.
