Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 0.76% or 1.8 points to trade at 237.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 0.66% or 1.6 points to end at 242.6 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.58% or 0.20 points to 34.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 1.86% or 2.6 points to trade at 135.4 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 1.58% or 1.65 points to end at 102.70 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 1.20% or 1.0 points to 82.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 289 and 61 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.14% or 0.08 to $56.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.14% or 0.09 to hit $66.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.75 to trade at $1298.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 10.5662, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 9.3579.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.958.
