Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.26% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.99% or 0.67 points to trade at 17.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 3.88% or 5.7 points to end at 152.7 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 0.85% or 0.43 points to 50.73 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 2.37% or 0.97 points to trade at 39.90 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.61% or 3.3 points to end at 201.5 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was down 1.10% or 3.6 points to 323.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 545 to 233 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.18% or 0.10 to $56.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.41% or 0.26 to hit $63.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.38 to trade at $1278.58 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.41% to 9.7845, while USD/SEK rose 0.45% to 8.3937.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.47.
