Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.98% or 1.23 points to trade at 42.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 1.48% or 0.25 points to end at 17.10 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 1.24% or 2.1 points to 172.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which fell 1.92% or 4.70 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.79% or 2.2 points to end at 120.8 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 1.67% or 3.20 points to 188.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 333 to 286 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.45% or 0.26 to $57.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $63.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1263.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 9.9519, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 8.4202.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 93.22.
