Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 1.16% or 1.80 points to trade at 156.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 1.16% or 3.70 points to end at 323.80 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.56% or 1.60 points to 289.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 4.76% or 4.60 points to trade at 92.40 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.48% or 0.24 points to end at 6.66 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 1.71% or 1.30 points to 72.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 487 to 257 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) rose to all time highs; up 1.16% or 3.70 to 323.80. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.71% or 1.30 to 72.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.36% or 1.55 to $67.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.89% or 1.31 to hit $70.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $2,543.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 11.44, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.70.
