Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 8.99% or 6.8 points to trade at 81.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.75% or 1.75 points to end at 236.00 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 0.55% or 1.6 points to 293.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which fell 2.03% or 1.37 points to trade at 66.19 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 1.99% or 1.74 points to end at 85.88 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.02% or 1.9 points to 184.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 356 to 287 and 50 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.03% or 1.37 to 66.19.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $57.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.31% or 0.20 to hit $64.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 8.45 to trade at $1426.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 10.5390, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 9.2679.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 95.648.
