Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 3.74% or 1.76 points to trade at 48.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.35% or 0.14 points to end at 6.26 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.72% or 5.45 points to 322.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 3.53% or 3.1 points to trade at 85.7 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.01% or 6.7 points to end at 216.0 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.75% or 2.68 points to 150.57.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 316 to 304 and 58 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.01% or 6.7 to 216.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.78% or 1.15 to $65.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.03% or 1.53 to hit $76.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1301.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 10.2571, while USD/SEK fell 0.57% to 8.6831.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 93.40.
