Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.61% or 4.4 points to trade at 278.0 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.18% or 2.3 points to end at 197.1 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.05% or 0.8 points to 81.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which fell 2.02% or 3.9 points to trade at 189.2 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.70% or 9.5 points to end at 549.0 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 1.61% or 0.28 points to 17.13.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 323 to 292 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.33% or 0.19 to $57.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.32% or 0.20 to hit $62.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 8.76 to trade at $1273.34 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.42% to 9.9566, while USD/SEK fell 0.01% to 8.3684.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 92.98.
