Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which rose 0.70% or 0.49 points to trade at 70.74 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 0.61% or 0.19 points to end at 31.46 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.59% or 0.24 points to 40.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which fell 1.50% or 2.30 points to trade at 151.30 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.33% or 9.9 points to end at 736.1 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 0.82% or 2.1 points to 253.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 332 to 303 and 67 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.06% or 0.62 to $59.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.79% or 1.21 to hit $68.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1284.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.45% to 10.7340, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 9.5852.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.625.
